Impromptu Number 2: Lauriel Stowe

The 11 year old was posed with the question, "Should the Summer Vacation Be Shorter?" She said that it should not be, as this is the time for students to spend with family and take a break from school work. She spoke for 1 minute and 28 seconds.

Contestant Number 5: Donlee Sutherland

Last, but certainly not least, was Donlee Sutherland, a 12 year old student from the Leeward side of the country, Spring Village. Sutherland claimed that students should be paid for their efforts. He spoke for 3 minutes and 57 seconds.

Contestant Number 4: Brian Pearson

The fourth contestant, Brian Pearson claimed that students should not be paid for good grades, as this can do more harm than good. The 13 year old student of Belmont, spoke for a total of 4 minutes and 28 seconds.
